Let's take a ride across the frozen tundra of the Northwoods, stopping in Green Bay for the NFL Draft. It's US 141!

Interstate 278 is the only freeway to enter all 5 boroughs, and it's signed for them all! Does the signage stack up well as the skyline views, or is it as bad as the traffic? Find out in this episode

The votes are in! Let's track all the buzzer beaters, including a finals where every single vote mattered. Who did YOU choose as the greatest Interstate of them all?

Interstate 394 is a short spur from the burbs to the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Let's take a Little Red Corvette to check out a Twins game!

Play Ball! The Royals open against Cleveland, so we're going from Cleveland to Atlantic City to check out US 322. It's got some beautiful stretches while acting as a (mostly) useful connection. Go Royals!

US 60 is a diagonal highway that manages to share pavement with both I-64 and I-10. Today we check out the western half, from a sometimes-freeway in southern Missouri to a desolate mountain road through the mountains and deserts of New Mexico and Arizona. It's cool!

The Madness is back! This time, we're going to determine the best Interstate in the system. Vote for your favorite at patreon.com/controlcityfreak! If you want to shout out your favorite Interstate for the results episode, you can with a $5 SuperThanks or a Patreon membership!

US 60 is a diagonal highway that manages to share pavement with both I-64 and I-10. It Is the longest highway in Kentucky and the shortest in Illinois. We'll see both today, along with extensive travel through both Virginias. It's an awesome road!

US 6 is the second longest road in the US, and formerly the longest. Today we take a look at the entire thing in our most comprehensive Supercut yet!

US 92 is a highway located entirely within central Florida. It largely parallels I-4 so it isn't used much as a long distance route, but it does have a lot of cool sights. Let's take the slow way to Daytona!

US 61 is known as the Blues Highway, for good reason. It's a major route that is often the fastest route between semi-major spots, and is signed pretty well by most states, but unbelievably badly by Arkansas, which actually mixes in an I-95 in NJ pre-276 Interchange situation. It's fun to check out!

Get ready for the Pro Bowl! Florida 408 crosses Orlando in an East-West way, as advertised. Let's head to Orlando!

As the Chiefs and Bills look to square off again in the AFC Championship Game, we turn our sights to Buffalo's neighbor, Rochester. 490 has some quirks and is definitely signed better in one direction than it is the other. Let's check out Rochester!

Let's power rank metro areas based on their control cities! In this episode, Todd explains the standards of comparison and ranks the control cities listed in Houston. Stay tuned for one of his most epic rants so far!

It's Wild Card Weekend! Today we're looking at the entirety of one of the country's greatest roads, US 40, the old National Road. This Supercut includes footage from I-68, I-70, and I-64 videos as well as new requests. We'll see big cities, small towns, and some cool mountain views. It's an awesome road!

It's time to finish off the 2024 NFL regular season! Today we're looking at the western portion of one of the countries greatest roads, US 40, the old National Road, which just so happens to connect the Broncos with the Chiefs. We'll see big cities, small towns, and some cool mountain views. It's an awesome road!

In this episode, CCF finally visits Pittsburgh! Interstate 376 is a loop signed as a spur and a predominantly north-south route signed as east and west. All this and more - explained in this episode!

Interstate 610 circles central Houston and has a lot of good views of the skyline as an inner ring. Like with all Texas loops, it's control cities (or lack thereof) leave a lot to be desired. Lets check it out!

US 6 is the second longest road in the US, and formerly the longest. Today we take a look at it's interesting eastern half between the Mississippi River and Cape Cod. It's a great ride!

Interstate 805 is a good alternative around San Diego for LA-Mexico traffic while also serving inland San Diego neighborhoods. It buzzes past the former home of TOPGUN and involves some cool engineering!

Let's power rank metro areas based on their control cities! In this episode, Todd explains the standards of comparison and ranks the control cities listed in Kansas City!

Interstate 485 has too many names, but pretty good signage, especially by North Carolina standards. Lets take a spin around Charlotte!

Interstate 290 represents the last major Interstate Higway in Buffalo to be covered by this channel. It's a well-placed shortcut around the city!

US 6 is the second longest road in the US, and formerly the longest. Today we take a look at it's stunning western half between California and the Mississippi River. It's a great ride!

I-275 makes the run through downtown Tampa and St. Petersburg while I-75 acts as the bypass. It's a flip from standard but it works. Let's check out a road that Todd knows well!

US 95 manages to miss passing through several of its major and minor control cities, bus also acts like an Interstate and forms the backbone of the connection between some distant metros. It's a fantastic road from start to finish!

Two ways down the Peninsula, two ways down the East Bay. They all meet in San Jose, which is annoyingly closer to the current 49ers home than any of the realer, more well known cities up north. 280 connects Santa Clara County down south with the center of San Francisco!

It’s finally here! Thanks to everyone who made a request in this video, you made it all happen! This episode is filled with a lot of road stories as the viewers take the wheel. I apologize if I somehow missed your request, but as you can see there were A LOT of ducks to keep in a row here. Thanks, you're the best!

US 90 is an X0 US Highway that was never coast to coast due to being too far south - US 80 plied the Van Horn to San Diego route. After leaving West Texas, it hugs the Gulf Coast all the way to Florida before moving on to Jacksonville. It's a cool road!

Interstate 5 is the backbone of the West Coast, and runs the gamut between urban, rural, suburban, breathtakingly beautiful, and skull crushingly boring. It's also our biggest reboot yet! The original is gone, but still visible to members (it's bad anyway). Lets go from Mexico to Canada!

Interstate 285 circles Atlanta and has a unique approach to control cities. It's done well, but is it signed as awesomely as it could be? We consider that along with the idea of power ranking the control city selections of metro areas. Stay tuned to the end to learn about a fun gimmick that will start next year!

Interstate 435 is probably the most Kansas City of roads, connecting the airport, theme parks, stadiums, and surprisingly rural stretches. Today we're going counter-clockwise!

It's time to kick off the 2024 NFL season! Today we're looking at the eastern portion of one of the countries greatest roads, US 40, the old National Road, which just so happens to connect the Ravens with the Chiefs. We'll see big cities, small towns, the horrific Highway to Nowhere, and some cool mountain views. It's an awesome road!

It's the last week of summer and a week with no NFL football, so let's take a look at an obscure, rural Indiana State Highway. It's not the most exciting road, but it will be still be fun!

The Chiefs host the Bears for their third pre-season game so let's take a look at the great US 12! We'll travel from Chicago's 95th Street all the way to Aberdeen, Washington. We'll see plenty of old friends along the way and wonder about the Dakotas lofty statuses in control city state rankings. It's a pretty drive!

The Chiefs take on the Lions for their second pre-season game so let's take a look at the great US 12! The Chiefs happen to play their final pre-season game against a certain team from a certain town that just so happens to be on US 12 as well, so our look at US 12 will continue next week. It's a cool road!

We're back! I considered doing 295 in Jacksonville this week for the opening of NFL preseason, but maybe KC will play the Jags in the playoffs, so we'll focus on a baseball grudge match. Should 270 and 255 all be one road that intersects itself. or is it fine as is? What's with the weird numbering? Why can't MODOT and IDOT agree on control cities in the same metro? These questions and more are pondered as we head to St. Louis!

Let's get ready for the Olympics with the main road of the Games! We pass by Adidas Arena, Stade de France, and the main airport of the Games on the way to Lille and back on France's busiest highway. We also get to see CCF as a douchey college student!

It's time for another road trip vid! No, I didn't JUST go to Limon last year, but ended up driving around the West quite a bit. After explaining the ins and outs of the upcoming all-request show in October, we head out to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world!

Texas 360 runs right down the middle of the Metroplex, so it's not surprising that we see a lot of Dallas and Fort Worth control signs when meeting lateral roads. We're here for the All Star Game, so go Bobby and Salvy!

Happy Independence Day! Today we celebrate the proud American tradition of gorging ourselves on hot dogs and 44 ounce beers. What better road to celebrate than New York's own Belt Parkway, which passes our most classic amusement park boardwalk, one of our most beautiful bridges, and our 73rd best airport!

Interstate 271 starts out pretty rural in it's southern end, then things escalate quickly. It's a surprisingly scenic road through a lesser known National Park. It seems to do just two types of interchanges, limited and enormous!

US 75 goes right down the middle of the country, and right by the home of the now-happening College World Series. Unlike many US Highways that have been bypassed by Interstates, it is often the fastest route between distant metro areas, but is almost universally signed like a backwater county road. It's frustrating!

CCF is in a New York state of mind today, or at least a Long Island one. The LIE is a well signed road control city-wise but has pretty quirky numbering. Let's head to Riverton (and back)!

Washington Highway 99 is a remnant of the great US 99, which once crossed the West Coast from border to border and was largely replaced by I-5. Washington 99 remains very much in 5's shadow, as its parent did in its waning days, but remains an important urban connection through (and now under) the heart of Seattle. It's an interesting road!

US 301 makes for a key shortcut in some spots and a meandering long-cut over much of the rest of its run. It has long independent stretches but also acts more or less as an I-95 service road through the lion's share of 3 states. It's a study in contrasts!

We're shifting gears in this gimmick and talking about the WORST control cities in every state. Not the smallest, but the overall most useless for long distance traffic on major Interstates. Let's get roasting!
Interstate 880 is the southern East Bay's main drag. Much like the city that it serves, it's had its problems but remains strong. This jam- packed episode is mainly an Oakland story, looking at earthquakes, baseball,  and The Town!
California Highway 57 is a most excellent road that crosses the most triumphant city of San Dimas. It also passes by Angel Stadium in Anaheim, a team that will hopefully not be triumphant against the Royals this week.
Interstate 264 is Louisville's inner loop and the closest road to this weekend's Kentucky Derby site at Churchill Downs. KYTC does a great job at signing nearly all of the off ramps, but when it comes to the on ramps... not so much!
Michigan Highway 1 may be short, but may well earn it's gaudy number in importance . Woodward avenue takes many shapes over its run through Detroit and its suburbs, but is unquestionably the main drag throughout. It also connects all the main sporting events happening this weekend, including the various NFL draft sites and the Royals playing the Tigers. Detroit gets a bad rap and I've personally never been, but after making this video I'm ready to go the next chance I get!
The Mother Road! In the longest CCF video evar, we take a look at westbound former U.S. Route 66. We cover a bunch of roadside attractions but certainly miss as many as are mentioned because there's simply too much to cover. Come get your kicks!
Let's take a swing around Augusta! Is Interstate 520 par for the course, or is it more of an outlier? Find out this episode if the signage makes it to the green or ends up in a bunker. It's a beltway unlike any other!
In this jam-packed episode, we count down the state rankings as voted by YOU, take a look at Final Four State DOT Madness results, and crown the champion! We also throw back to Final Four state DOT coverage from the Todd Ranks series, and announce the winner of the play-at-home bracket pool!
Final Four!

Puerto Rico has Interstate Highways on paper, like Alaska, and like in Alaska, they are unsigned and completely ignored by pretty much everyone. Puerto Rico 22 is its busiest road and a part of PR I-2, the island's longest Interstate!
You know distances are long when the first line of a milage sign is a three digit number. Alaska is vast, beautiful, and makes some interesting choices in signage!
Lets take a look at the highlights of Las Vegas Boulevard, from the desert to the Strip and back out to the desert. The Super Bowl is coming to Vegas!
Florida's Turnpike is an important road connecting two of Florida's largest cities and Orlando with everything north in I-75. It also goes near this year's Pro Bowl stadium, which is the onoy thought I'm giving to the Pro Bowl!
The Chiefs are heading to Buffalo and so are we. Let's take a look at Wingtown's most prominent highway, Interstate 190!
Interstate 695 is easily in the top two for most famous X95 Beltways in Maryland. Let's circle Raven's Stadium in the lead up to the AFC Championship Game!
The Chiefs are heading to Buffalo and so are we. Let's take a look at Wingtown's most prominent highway, Interstate 190!
U.S. 56 traverses 610 rural miles along the old Sant Fe Trail before spending it's last 30 in the KC metro, finishing in the heart of the city itself. It's a road almost nobody would travel from end to end given the many shortcuts along the way, but it's a fun road to check out!
Interstate 8 traverses a lot of different types of desert terrain, and also connects San Diego with Arizona on the old US 80 route. It's a beautiful road!
I-275 is one of the very few 3 digit Interstates to enter 3 states. It mostly makes sense, but why aren't there control cities in the eastern half? Should there be? Let's take a look!
While US 95 may be the polar opposite of it's clogged Interstate cousin, it's still the main street of Idaho and Nevada. It's also the main route from Boise to Reno while not getting that close to either. Let's cruise the desert!
I 495 is the closest Interstate to Foxboro Stadium and the looooong way around Boston, as it is the second longest 3 digit Interstate and the longest purpose-built one. Let's see if it's wicked awesome!
Oh Canada! Our first foray to our neighbors (neighbours) to the north covers it's most populate region, the Golden Horseshoe. Let's explore Toronto on the Gardiner Expressway and then shuffle down to Buffalo!
Wisconsin 29 is our first look at a true state highway, and it's almost certainly the most important one in the state. Let's take a trip from the Chiefs' former summer home in River Falls to their venue this week, Lambeau Field! (but hold the ketchup)
Let's try our luck on the Las Vegas Loop! This road is part Interstate and part (checks notes) county highway?!? Lets look at what is almost certainly the most built up county highway in the nation before it gets rebranded as a proper 3 digit Interstate!
Interstate 476 is the longest 3 digit Interstate in the game and serves three metro areas. It's signed pretty well control city-wise, but this being PA, goofiness is sure to show up. It's pricey, but beautiful!
US 41 is one of the great north-south US Highways in the country. It features scenic rural twists and turns and mind blowing urban landscapes, particularly in Chicago. Let's take a ride past Soldier Field!
Control City Freak visits its 4th country and third International Road, Autobahn 3! We're zipping diagonally across Germany with our first look at control cities across the pond!
Denver has something of a mess in it's hodgepodge 7/8ths of a loop consisting of Colorado 470, E470, and the weirdly unnumbered Northwest Parkway. There are some great views, but we've also got high tolls, bad control cities, weird numbering, and Dawson's Creek jokes!
Mexican Federal Highway 1 forms the spine of Baja. Though heavily traveled at it's northern and southern extremes, it's midsection feels more like a back road than a road with national road with a 1 designation. Let's head to Cabo and back!
Interstate 435 is probably the most Kansas City of roads, connecting the airport, theme parks, stadiums, and surprisingly rural stretches. Today we're going clockwise!
US 52 is a weird diagonal that seems to show up everywhere. Want to go from Chicagoland to Winston-Salem or from Indianapolis to Charleston? Today, let's go west and get local!
Let's take a trip down New Jersey's longest road. This is easily the most New Jersey road nerd video ever made. Tolls! The Shore! Clerks! Chasing Amy! The Boss! The Jets! It's all here !
US 52 is a weird diagonal that seems to show up everywhere. Want to go from Chicagoland to Winston-Salem or from Indianapolis to Charleston? US 52 has got you!
In my first reboot, I look at the control cities on Interstate 4... the road to Disney World!
Well, we’ve danced around this subject for a while, so it’s time for Todd to finally drive around Limon. For better footage of Limon, check out InterstateKyle’s vid as well!
We're back! The place names may be unfamiliar, but I assure you the nerdiness and nonsense you've come to expect is all there.
Which Interstate is the weirdest, quirkiest one? While the answer is almost certainly I-70, Todd makes a case for every Interstate being "the weird one." Also, we will be doing our first giveaway contest based on this video!
Aloha! Interstate H3 is the most expensive-per-mile Interstate in the system. You can see where all the money went in this video!
Aloha! We're getting an Ernie Banks special today, let's play two!
Aloha! We're making our first trip off the mainland US to check out Hawaii's longest, oldest, and busiest Interstate. Come enjoy Todd's terrible haole pronunciation of place names!
Interstate 99 is. But should it be? Let's take a look!
Interstate 97 is the shortest completed Interstate in the lower 48. This is the first road I've covered where I spend more time on pics off the featured highway than on it!
Interstate 96 is an intrastate Interstate in central Michigan with sensible control cities. Looks like we made it off I-95 just in time!
Interstate 95 is the Main Street of the East Coast and easily the busiest Interstate in the US. In this episode of CCF, we look at the entirety of I-95 southbound!
Interstate 95 is the Main Street of the East Coast and easily the busiest Interstate in the US. In this longest ever episode of CCF, we look at the entirety of I-95 northbound!
Where does each Interstate Highway go? Let's look at all of the signed control cities (destinations) that are signed on each road.
Todd ranks the state DOT's signage in 7 Northeastern states. Watch as he counts down and gets increasingly more annoyed.
Interstate 95 is the Main Street of the East Coast and easily the busiest Interstate in the US. If you like big cities and your control cities listed on overhead sign pull-throughs than this is the episode for you!
Interstate 95 is the Main Street of the East Coast and easily the busiest Interstate in the US. This episode covers the New England section, featuring two new states. Todd also pays tribute to a legend and complains about the Patriots!
This episode looks at its relatively bucolic southern section, as we travel southbound from Fredericksburg to Miami. Just the way it was intended!
Interstate 95 is the Main Street of the East Coast and easily the busiest Interstate in the US. This episode looks at its relatively bucolic southern section, as we travel northbound from Miami to the doorstep of DC. Gonna be a great series!
Interstate 94 is the longest Interstate in the nation not divisible by 5 and connects a lot of important cities. Thanks to K1NGxBONDx007, Steven Culps, Adrian Leskiw, Alex Jones, NightWalker, andykillsu, Carlos T, Eric Thompson, Steve Manfred, NW Indiana Elevators for the exit requests!
Todd ranks the state DOT's signage in 8 Northwestern states. Watch as he counts down and gets increasingly more annoyed.
Interstate 94 is the longest Interstate in the nation not divisible by 5 and connects a lot of important cities. It's a personal favorite!
Interstate 93 may be the most beautiful in New England, connecting downtown Boston with rural Northern New Hampshire. Thanks to markhb1 and Zach R for this episode's Superthanks!
Interstate 91 is not I-90, so that's an exciting change! It's a Jeckle and Hyde road, busy and dense in the south and rural and sparse in the north. Thanks to Mike DiMauro and Mikes Mission for this episode's Superthanks!
Interstate 90 is, as you know, the longest Interstate in the country, and today we've got a supercut of the entire route from Seattle to Boston! This cut also includes some Superthanks requests! Appreciate those so much, thanks to Edwin Paschke, Kevin B., Vitemar448, and 14Rocket! This one's for my fellow completionist nerds.
Interstate 90 is, as you know, the longest Interstate in the country, and today we've got a supercut of the entire route from Bostonto Seattle! This one's for my fellow completionist nerds.
Interstate 90 is, as you know, the longest Interstate in the country, and today we take a look at it's eastern section. It's got big city views, solid rural scenery, and near perfect control cities. Don't forget your EZ Pass!
Interstate 90 is, as you know, the longest Interstate in the country, and today we take a look at it's central section. Its scenery and cities are as varied as the cromulence of its control cities!
Todd ranks the state DOT's signage in 6 Northeastern states. Watch as he counts down and gets increasingly more annoyed.
Interstate 90 is, as you know, the longest Interstate in the country, and today we take a look at it's western section. Its many rivers, mountain passes, scenic towns, mystery ramps, and weird control cities make it a great ride!
Interstate 89 is a stunningly beautiful road and this channel's first visit to 2 new states. Plus, some thoughts on ordinal exit numbering!
Interstate 88 serves Binghamton and Albany. It's an undeniably beautiful road but is it the "real" I-88?
Interstate 88 isn't the most scenic road, but it will get you from the Quad cities to downtown Chicago faster than I-80 - for a price. Is it the 'real' I-88?
"Interstate 87's" route is perfectly sensible and even needed, but the number, oh the number.  North Carolina strikes again! Bonus content on 587.
Interstate 87 connects some of the densest parts of New York City with rural wilderness. For an intrastate Interstate, it varies a lot and goes through some awesome scenery. It's probably New York's finest!
We made it to 5K! In this episode I've got a Rocky character countdown, roadtrip playlists, a little about me, and a lot about highways! Thanks so much to everyone who watches this crazy little channel, especially the 5,000 of you who made this possible.
Interstate 86 serves Binghamton, Erie, and in a roundabout way, NYC. It's an undeniably beautiful road, but is it shield-worthy?
Interstate 86 Western isn't much of a road, but it does connect Pocatello and Idaho Falls with the larger cities in the state. Amazingly, it could well be the "real" I-86!
Interstate 85 is one of the most well-signed roads in the country, despite being often off-grid and more east-west than north-south. like I-20, it's in the running to be the most South Interstate despite not being the most southern one. The southbound direction is more fun!
Interstate 85 is one of the most well signed roads in the country, despite being often off-grid and more east-west than north-south. It's probably the most important odd-numbered road to exist entirely in the South!
Interstate 84 takes this channel into 2 new states, along with a near face turn for one of the greatest control city heels. It's an interesting road!
Interstate 84 used to be known as 80N, and connects Portland (and Seattle) to the interior West and Midwest. It's the main street of Idaho and offers great views in Utah!
Interstate 84 used to be known as 80N, and connects Portland (and Seattle) to the interior West and Midwest. It's Oregon section is one of the most beautiful stretches of Interstate anywhere!
Interstate 83 runs from Baltimore to Harrisburg, covering a short though significant corridor. Showing it's awesome urban views involves exiting itself a lot!
Interstate 82 is often north-south and is out of grid, but it's an important part on many paths to Seattle. It's passes through some gorgeous scenery too!
Interstate 81 connects upstate New York with the Great Smokies of Tennessee and is never too far from the mountains. It's an awesome road!
Want to drive from DC to any other North American national capital? You'll be taking Interstate 81! The back road of the East Coast sneakily connects all sorts of major city pairs. It's a beautiful drive!
In this video, we travel west from New York to San Francisco, checking out some sights we missed on the eastbound video and following spur routes through Omaha and Sacramento. It's an awesome trip!
Some of the most infamous 3 digit Interstates happen to share the 180 number, so in this episode we'll count them down from least-worse to worst, and talk a little college football on the way.
Number 2 in length, Interstate 80 is almost certainly number one in importance when it comes to transcontinental routes. Lots to talk about in the longest Control City Freak vid yet!
Interstate 79 sweeps its way from central West Virginia through eastern Pennsylvania through lovely scenery and terrible control city signage. It's pretty cool!
Start spreading the news! Control City Freak is back and we're making our first trip into New York with a little help from Interstate 78.
Interstate 77 crosses the Appalachians in dramatic fashion, while connecting Cleveland with the Carolinas. It's an awesome road!
Todd ranks the state DOT's signage in 9 Midwestern states. Watch as he counts down and gets increasingly more annoyed.
Interstate 77 crosses the Appalachians in dramatic fashion, while connecting the Carolinas with Cleveland. It's an awesome road!
Eastern Interstate 76 follows a number of freeways that proceeded the Interstate Highway system, most notably the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Outside of that, the control cities get pretty weird.
The Western Interstate 76 spans an important corridor, connecting Denver to Nebraska and ultimately Chicago and points northeast. It's got a number of questionable control cities, and signage for the most questionable one of all.
Interstate 75 south is probably the road's true form, bringing Midwesterners to the South and ultimately Florida Beaches. Let's drive down!
Interstate 75 connects Miami to Michigan and passes a lot of cool spots along the way, including one of the great bridges of the Interstate Highway System. It's a great trip!
"Interstate 74" in North Carolina probably shouldn't exist, and should just be a couple of 3 digit interstates and an upgraded US 74. If it were a control city, it would be Limon.
Interstate 74 acts as a large southwestern bypass of Chicago, and also has to lead the league in near-junctions, as it barely misses connecting with four different 2 digit Interstates.
Interstate 73 is either an out-of-grid intrastate interstate that will eventually connect to small portions of Virginia and South Carolina, or it's a well-numbered cross country interstate that will never exist. Let's take a look at its current situation!
Interstate 72 is a nearly intrastate Interstate and a low key shortcut between Chicago and Kansas City. What it lacks in major cities, it makes up for in sensible control cities and interesting scenery. Not.
Interstate 71 may just be the pound for pound Interstate champ city-wise, packing in 4 major metros in just 343 miles. Find out how it measures up control city-wise in this episode!
The west way down I-70 just may be the best way down I-70. In this episode we see awesome scenery, cool cities, weird control cities, and Todd even sings (sorry about that).
Todd ranks the state DOT's signage in 11 Southern states. Watch as he counts down and gets increasingly more annoyed.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of Control City Freak, we finally get to the best road of them all! Interstate 70 passes through breathtaking mountains, many tunnels, Breezewood, and my home town. Find out what I would replace Limon with in this episode!
We untangle the web of suffixed routes as we mosey on from Texas for the final time in the primary Interstate portion of this channel.
Interstate 69 dudes! In this episode, we look at the very discontiguous portions of I-69 through Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Interstate 69 dudes! I-69 is a very discontiguous road that will eventually connect Canada with Mexico by way of Michigan, Texas, and several other states. This episode examines the most contiguous section.
Interstate 68. is, well, the most hyped Interstate ever! Find out why in this episode as we look at this alternate route to Ohio and West.
Interstate 66 serves DC, but what should it be signed westbound? We take a look at the choices, and try to untangle the web of spurs in The District.
There's more than corn on I-65! This road through the US interior crosses from Central to Eastern and back to Central Time Zone.
I-65 connects the northern extent of the South Coast with the southern tip of the North Coast, and is a very popular trucking route.

Interstate 64 could combine with I-44 without affecting the grid, and would make for a fine I-50 or I-60 if such things were allowed. Its westbound run is as scenic as it's eastbound, with arguably better control cities.

Interstate 64 is a winding and frequently concurrent road that's too far north to be in the South and too far south to be in the Northeast, but frequently traverses beautiful terrain.

A diagonal crossing the deep south, I-59 is also the spiritual continuation of I-81, moving traffic while avoiding (most) major cities.

Over the river and through the woods, down I-57 we go!

In the first episode of "Road Movie Reviews," we take a look at the 1983 Chevy Chase classic, National Lampoon's Vacation. What route did Clark W. Griswold take the Family Truckster? Did the route make sense? What were the control cities in 1983? And what role does Route 66 play? Find out in this video!

The road that connects many of America's music Meccas, lets take a trip down south on I-55 and its surprisingly obscure control cities.

America's Mississippiest Interstate, I-55 connects the bayou with Lake Shore Drive. It's a fun road.

It's Control City Freak's 50th video! Thanks so much for watching. We look at the newer, mainly Missouri and Arkansas section of I-49, and talk about some far-fetched renumbering.

A currently discontiguous road, Interstate 49 will eventually connect New Orleans with Kansas City. Here we look at the older, mainly Louisiana section.

I-45 connects Texas's two best downtown skylines and America's 4th and 5th largest metro areas but is the shortest X5 interstate by far (and the only one that will be a single episode here, probably)..

I-44 is a diagonal and largely replaced sections of Route 66. The control city signage is... interesting. If you take a drink every time 44 exits itself, you'll be hammered by the end of this video.

I-43 is an intrastate Wisconsin Interstate and the quickest way from Milwaukee to Green Bay, but somehow has zero signs for Lambeau Field.

The first in a series of ranking State DOT signing related to control cities, we take a look at ranking the southwestern states.

I-41 fits the grid perfectly as it connects Milwaukee with Green Bay, but is this the right number for this road?

On I-40, the west(bound) is the best. I'm thankful for your continued support and viewership, and for every control city, even the turkeys. Happy Thanksgiving!

It's I-40. It's awesome.

I-39 makes a beeline between central Illinois and central Wisconsin, spanning two states we haven't talked about much yet on this channel.

Texas - king of the intrastate Interstates - flexes its road muscles with its fourth in this series - Interstate 37.

I -35 may just be the most Pan-American Highway of the US section of the Pan-American Highway, join me on a fun trip from Lake Superior to the Mexican border.

The road so nice they split it twice, I 35 is the primary north-south route in Middle America.

"Dirty" 30 is the shortest X0 Interstate, but still serves an important corridor with a lot of clean skyline views.

Our first Midwestern Interstate! I-29 runs along 3 rivers while narrowly avoiding 3 states.

Our first Midwestern Interstate! I-29 connect the largest cities in three states while somehow remaining largely rural and traffic-free.

A short intrastate road through the Texas Panhandle that may have a large extension in its future. If you like frontage roads, slip ramps, and Whataburger, this is the road for you!

The most South Carolina of Interstates and the least east-west of the even numbered routes, I-26 is an overall sensibly signed road.

A Mountain West masterpiece, North I-25 traverses striking scenery, cool cities, and terrible signage.

A Mountain West masterpiece, South I-25 traverses striking scenery, cool cities, and terrible signage.

A diagonal shortcut from St. Louis to Atlanta, I-24 centers around Nashville and may just be the best signed Interstate in America control city-wise.

Running from outer Birmingham to Memphis-ish by way of Tupelo, Interstate 22 is the most Elvis of Interstates.

It may not be the southernmost Interstate, but it just may be the most South one. Let's go from Florence, SC to West Texas.

It may not be the southernmost Interstate, but it just may be the most South one.

A short drive down Arizona's own I-19, easily the metric-ist Interstate in the land.

Another intrastate Interstate, but a scenic one with some fun quirks, I-17 is the shortcut from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon.

It's a short, flat, wooded, 167 mile hop between Macon and Savanah on Georgia's own Interstate 16.

A trip through the interior Mountain West the Canadian border at Montana to San Diego, I-15 offers fast growing cities and stunning views.

A trip through the interior Mountain West from San Diego to the Canadian border at Montana, I-15 offers fast growing cities and stunning views.

One of the newest, shortest, and least signed Interstates, deep in the heart of Texas.

Louisiana's own Interstate 12 provides a shortcut around New Orleans for long distance travel. Should it be a 3 digit interstate? Maybe.

A short down one of the newest Interstates in America, I-11.

Taking a journey from Jacksonville to Santa Monica Pier, I-10 West is filled with scenery and control cities brilliant and awful.

Traveling from Santa Monica to Jacksonville along the southernmost coast to coast highway in the United States!

Check out the control cities of America's southwestern-most interstate!

Taking a trip from border to border along the west coast's Main Street.

Looking at I-5 from the Mexican border to the Canadian one.

In my second video, I look at the control cities on Interstate 4... the road to Disney World!

In my first video, I look at control cities on one of the newest, shortest Interstates (and the one with the lowest number).
